Week 1 is quickly approaching. I really appreciate everyone's understanding and patience. It's a lot to do to get this league going and we couldn't do it without the many folks that chip in to help!

Apologies in advance for being a bit wordy. With new and returning players, we have different needs for information and can be used as a reference later. But we try to stay consistent year to year.

Schedules
You should have received links for filling in your known time off. This is to help captains schedule the weekly events. No need to mark when you can play, only when you can't. It's strongly recommended teams schedule their four players and a known sub for the week. If you are a sub, be ready!

Teams are intentionally heavy. It's amazing how often it's hard to get four players some weeks. This provides a great opportunity to still get together on your weeks off to come out and play. Since we split up on two courses, you could easily play as a 3rd tee time on the lighter course or even at a Kiln Creek/The Hamptons/etc.
Become unavailable?
If you are scheduled (or listed as a sub) and you can't make it, report to your captain. Do not try to find someone to play for you, this creates a lot of confusion. Captains can post on the mailing list if their team can not provide a sub and we will help provide one.

Emergency contacts
After nearly getting hit with a golf ball the other day, it occurred to me we don't list an emergency contact number. To do so, we can use the "Phone 2" field under your player profile (image 1). This at least gives us a chance to have someone to call should the need arise (ex. heart-attack after hitting a hole-in-one). Feel free to contact me directly and I can fill it in for you as well. When you click on a players name, it will then show both numbers (image 2).

League Dues
We are keeping it to $20/player. Software licenses are $6/player this year, but I didn't feel it necessary to raise the cost of dues yet (let's enjoy something remaining cheap for a change). We'll switch-up the end of the year banquet in a way to offset the costs.

Venmo to me is highly preferred (@wmoore28, phone number for verification is 4299). Cash to myself or Ashley is also accepted. Find her office if you want to pay while on-site. We will begin shaming unpaid players in the coming weeks. 🙂
