A quick correction to the standings after an error in the spreadsheet was discovered for adding up the total number team losses.  It does not affect the standings or playoff seeding.  Any losses from the last two weeks were not being added to the team's record.

Regular season champs ended up with a 10-5 record.  Again, congrats to Team 4!

Good afternoon golfers,

Yesterday's match concluded the league's regular season.  Congratulations to the regular season champions - Team 4 with a W/L record of 10-3.

The final standings have been finalized according to JLab golf rules.  Ties between teams for W/L record are broken by H2H record first, then by total team points for the season.  We had two ties and the tie breaker is noted on the standings chart below.

Next up is the Labor Day holiday on Sept 2nd.

The playoffs begin the following Monday on Sept 9th.  The 1st and 2nd place teams receive a round 1 bye.  The playoff system is single elimination.  A reminder of a rule change implemented in 2023 allowing t playoff teams to request a sub if they are not able to fill all player slots.  We will create a list of subs with players who volunteer.  A name will be randomly drawn from the list when a team requests a sub.  If you are interested in being part of the sub pool please email Wes, Ashley and Whit.

The playoff bracket is set.  Team 4 and Team 2 will receive a Round 1 bye.  The JLab standings and playoff brackets are posted on the league's home page in the 'documents' box. Start getting your A-team lineup together!  Good luck to all teams.
