Good afternoon,

Team 5 had to use the CARD for their match yesterday.  The settings in the new league scoring software does not allow us to score the CARD (Ghost player) according to our league rules.  This required us to manually score the match per league rules section 3.g.  The scoring you see for this match on the webpage is not accurate and should be disregarded.

As a quick summary of playing the CARD:  The CARD cannot score any points for its team.  The match is split into two separate matches for the sake of determining Team Low Net Points by having the 3v3 match of paired players playing for 9 out of the 12 Team Low Net points while the side match with the CARD plays for the remaining 3 points.  The individual match points are played out as normal with each individual match worth a total of 22 points.  Any points scored by the unpaired player is then added to the rest of their team's total point tally.

This match, as it played out, was tied up across the board for net strokes.  Danny and the CARD tied at 36 each.  T5 and T6 also tied on total net score with 126 strokes each!  Danny received half of the available 3 Team Low Net points.  T5 and T6 also split the 9 available Low team Net points.  The difference came down to the individual matches.  Congrats to Team 6 for moving on to the next round.
