[jlab-9hgl 02358] Regular season ending - playoffs start next week

Good morning,

I am putting together the playoff bracket and will get that updated and posted once I receive the last scorecards from yesterday.  The playoffs will be the same format as last year with a 3 week, single elimination bracket to determine the champion.  But before we get to that I noticed some interesting stats through 18 regular season events.  The 19th event yesterday may blow all of this out of the water but for now here's a few stats.

Disregarding the outlier of the Birdie Hunters, the 2nd through 6th place teams in the standings were all within 27 total net strokes of each other.  The total net for this group ranged from 2470 strokes to 2497.  That's an average for these 5 teams of 2484 and if I break it down a bit further it equates to the average net for each player of 34.5 strokes over the season.

Not to leave the Birdie Hunters out of the conversation....  Their per play net average over the first 18 events is 33.3 strokes!!
