The first tab is what I believe are all confirmed players. The second tab is everyone else on the league mail list who have not confirmed if they are interested in joining the league this year. Let me know if you are on this tab and interested in playing. If you are receiving these emails and no longer wish to you can send me a note and I'll take you off the mail list. <br><br><br><br> * <br>We have 9 brand new golfers, 2 former golfers who had not played last year and 51 returning golfers giving us a total of 62. This is up 5 from last year. We have enough players for 8 teams. <br><br><br> * <br>Teams will be formed by draft with the persons making the selections determined by the lowest handicaps in the league. The eight lowest handicappers are Chris Dreyfuss, Kelly Dixon, Gary Croke, Wes Moore, Phil Kessler, Joe Thomas, Danny Machie and Mike Zarecky. I would like to hold the draft on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. I ask that these gentlemen let me know if they can make it. If not I'll go down the list until I have eight drafters. <br><br><br> * <br>Kelly Dixon, Wes Moore, Mike Spata, Phil Adderley, Kelly Tremblay, Alan Gavalya, Tom Carstens, Whit Seay and Joe Grames have all agreed to serve as Captains this year. Let me know if you are willing to serve and I'll add you to the list. Once teams are selected we'll see if we need someone else to step up. Each team will be asked to nominate one person to serve. The Captains Duties are listed in the rules . <br><br><br> * <br>There are eleven golfers on the confirmed list who need handicaps. The draft can occur without these in hand but I prefer these golfers get their two nine-hole rounds in so we can update the list before the draft. If any of these golfers are unable to get the two rounds completed before 3/15 you can provide an estimate for the draft. You must have an established handicap before you can play in a regular season event. <br><br><br> * <br>I would like to know your availability for this season to help the draft process. Let me know if you can play All weeks, Every Other Week, Most Weeks or some other specific availability. A null response will be interpreted as being available Every Other Week. <br><br><br> * <br>I'm organizing a Get Ready golf program at Kiln Creek. Five weekly group lessons for $99 covering putting, chipping, sand traps, irons and woods. Please let me know if you are interested. Once I have the total number of players we'll work out the day and time of the week for the lessons. Would like to start no later than the week after the draft. <br><br><br> * <br>Mark Ito is organizing a preseason event for April 3. He sent email earlier. Let him know if you are interested. <br><br><br> * <br>League play will start on April 10. Blocks of tee times for both courses will be reserved for league play. We are asked to do our best to send off 4 golfers per slot. <br><br><br> * <br>Please see Phil Adderley in Test Lab 1215-21 or call at extension 7200 to arrange payment of $20 league dues.
