This applies 7 days a week the greens fee of any kid will cost you nothing. The kid must still be of high school age or younger and the free play applies to greens fees only and they must be playing in the same group as an adult. ***Daylight Savings Time = More Time for Golf***
With the changing of the clocks comes the changing of operating hours at JBLE Golf. As of Sunday 12 March the operating hours of the golf shops will be 0800-1700 (closing times will be later on league nights and are as always weather dependent). As is normal for our golf shops this time of year we will adjust our closing time back as the weather gets nicer and the days get longer. Even though the golf shops may be closing the golf carts are not due back in until DUSK or approximately 30 minutes before dark.

***Tip of the Week - Taking the sand one objective at a time***
I have received a large number of questions about sand play recently so I thought it would be good to revisit this topic over the next few weeks. Sand can be one of the most frustrating surfaces to hit a golf ball out of, especially if we have as our objective to get the ball close to the hole. When we are in the sand on the golf course we need to take it one objective at a time. If you are not proficient at objective number one do not get frustrated if you are not achieving objective number 2. Objective number 1 is simply to get the ball out of the sand; objective number 2 is to get the ball to stop on the green and objective number 3 is to get the ball close to the hole. Over the next several weeks we will give tips on how to better achieve each of these objectives. In the meantime, if you need help with this or any other part of your golf game please come and see one of our PGA Golf Professionals and we would be happy to help you with your game.
