Scheduled maintenance Wednesday Sept 24, 2014 8am - noon

JLab's experimental physics data analysis cluster will be down for scheduled maintenance on Wednesday morning Sept 24. The PBS/Torque scheduling software will be upgraded on a new server.

Also, clasdb will uundergo maintenance patches and a reboot.

Jobs will continue to run as long as their time request can be completed before this maintenance period begins, otherwise the farm nodes will become idle in advance.

Scientific Computing Users,

JLab's data analysis cluster for experimental physics will be down for scheduled maintenance on Wednesday September 24, 2014 from 8am until noon. The PBS/Torque scheduling software will be upgraded from version 2.1.10 to 4.2.7; the upgrade will provide enhancements to the scheduler's fault tolerance, the scheduling interface, scalability, and usability.  Please plan for this morning outage next week.
