JLab Data Analysis Cluster Users, 
This message is from Mauri Ungaro, for the ENP Computing Committee: 
A new version of the JLab software libraries is available. Version 1.1 include these updates: 
- QT: 4.8.5 and "system" are now supported. 
- geant4: 4.9.6.p02 —> 4.9.6.p03 
- gemc: 1.8 —> 2.1 
- JANA: 0.7.1p3 —> 0.7.2 
- banks: 0.9 —> 1.0 
- scons_build_system: 1.0 —> 1.1 
- ROOT: stays at 5.34.13 
The "production.csh", currently pointing at 1.0, will be updated next Tuesday, Nov. 11 to 1.1. 
We now have 3 versions of libraries: 
- “devel" 
- 1.1 (was "devel") 
- 1.0 
Devel includes geant4 v 10, qt5 and CCDB support. 
Details on what's in each version can be found here . 
Users can quickly setup the environment as before: 
source /site/12gev_phys/production.csh 
source /site/12gev_phys/devel.csh 
Users can also select custom versions using the JLAB_VERSION env variable: 
setenv JLAB_ROOT /site/12gev_phys 
setenv JLAB_VERSION 1.0 
source $JLAB_ROOT/$JLAB_VERSION/ce/jlab.csh 
All versions of the libraries will be kept. However the following obsolete directories in /site/12gev_phys will be removed: 
ce 
ce_old 
Linux_CentOS5.3-x86_64-gcc4.1.2
