[Jlab-scicomp-briefs] scifs2 outage rescheduled to 9AM Thursday (10/29/15)

The outage of the scifs2 work fileserver scheduled for this afternoon has been postponed until 9AM Thursday (10/29/15). If the system does crash again before that time the scheduled work will be performed then.

There are continuing issues with this fileserver that we are still troubleshooting with our hardware vendor which require this work to be performed.

REMINDER!  Data in the /work filesystem is not automatically backed up, so make sure anything in that area is written to tape using jput in case of failure.

The /work areas that are affected include any work areas that are links to directories in:

/w/hallb-scifs2
/w/hallc-scifs2
/w/general-scifs2
