[Jlab-scicomp-briefs] experimental physics /work restoration

This morning the /work file server for experimental physics experienced a software problem that required a reboot.

After the reboot of the server, many work areas failed to remount on farm and ifarm systems.  Some areas were affected while others continued to work. After much troubleshooting, a new configuration was created that worked with systems at various patch levels. If you continue to experience problems with unmounted /work areas, please submit an incident report.

We apologize for the protracted troubleshooting process.
