Software & Computing Round Table, April 7, 11:00 a.m. (EDT)

Dear all:

In light of the ever growing role of Software & Computing in HEP, NP and related fields, Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) and Jefferson Lab (JLAB) are organizing a Software & Computing Round Table to foster the interplay of computing and science. The monthly round table forum aims to encourage knowledge transfer and to promote common projects within our scientific community.

In the Software & Computing Round Table on Tuesday, April 7, at 11:00 a.m. (EDT), we will discuss “Data Management & Storage".

  *   Mario Lassnig (CERN) will share "Experiences in evaluating and deploying Rucio beyond ATLAS”.
  *   Mike Kirby (FNAL) will review "DUNE Data Management and Experience with Rucio”.
  *   Alexei Klimentov (BNL) will present "The ATLAS Data Carousel Project”.
