STREAMING READOUT VI WORKSHOP - MAY 13-15

Over the last decade, advances in electronics, computing and software have changed the assumptions upon which data acquisition (DAQ) system designs for nuclear physics experiments are based. Looking ahead to future experiments that are in various stages of planning, such as EIC, we must reevaluate the near- and long-term course for the development of nuclear physics experiment readout systems. In our workshop, we discuss the usage of streaming readout systems where detectors are continuously read out in parallel streams of data. We will also discuss the ongoing work on streaming readout hardware and software, as well as tests of first streaming readout DAQ systems.

The workshop will be hosted remotely with the detailed agenda available on https://www.jlab.org/indico/event/378/.
