[Jlab-scicomp-briefs] Lustre issues for Experimental physics

The previously reported Lustre filesystem outage of /volatile and /cache on the farm and ifarm has been resolved.

A full metadata server changelog required a long filesystem check which completed at 6:00pm and was followed by client recovery.

We will continue to monitor the system.

During maintenance activities the Lustre filesystem for experimental physics became unstable. It has been placed in maintenance mode and debugging of the problem cause is underway. During this time, the /volatile and /cache systems on the farm and ifarm will be unavailable. We apologize for the interruption and will have an update soon.
