[Jlab-scicomp-briefs] Reminder: Scientific Computing Data Center planned outage tomorrow, Thursday August 17th.

A planned outage for Jefferson Lab Compute Clusters and Tape Storage is scheduled tomorrow, August 17th, from 5:00am to 6:00pm.

This outage is to perform data center electrical work and will impact the farm, the lattice QCD clusters, ifarm, qcd interactive nodes, Jupyter Hub, and tape related work including the jget, jput, and jcache commands. Central services including web servers, databases, and file servers will be unaffected by this work.

Jobs in the farm, QCD, and Jupyter queues with run times that would extend into the outage window will be held until the scheduled work is completed.
