[Jlab-scicomp-briefs] April 21 Maintenance: Default Walltime Update

Scheduled for April 21st (Maintenance Day):
To improve overall throughput and job scheduling across the cluster, we are changing the default walltime to 12 hours.
This adjustment helps the scheduler better prioritize and backfill jobs, reducing wait times and improving overall system utilization. Shorter default walltimes also encourage more accurate resource requests, leading to more efficient scheduling for all users.
If your workloads require longer runtimes, you can continue to request extended walltimes as needed.
We appreciate your cooperation as we work to improve performance across the cluster.
