"Next Steps in the Neutrino Field"

This is a colloquium outlining the state of play in the neutrino field
and starts with some recent results from the MINOS experiment.
Looking to the future, one area of study, that of neutrinoless double
beta decay is being embarked upon by the SuperNEMO collaboration.
Results from the forerunner, NEMO-III and plans for building the large
detector will be discussed.
