"Meson-Baryon Scattering in Lattice QCD"

The calculation of hadron-hadron scattering lengths using Lattice QCD 
has reached
a high level of precision with pions. Calculating meson-baryon 
scattering lengths is
more challenging. We have calculated the pion-sigma, and pion-cascade 
scattering
lengths using mixed-action Lattice QCD with the MILC gauge ensembles. SU(2)
chiral perturbation theory was used for the extrapolation to the 
physical pion mass.
