**"The Grand  Canyon National Park"** *

In Nov. 2009 my wife and I hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and 
camped there for three nights.  We descended
from the South Rim via the South Kaibab Trail and returned via the 
Bright Angel Trail, a total of about 25 miles round-trip.

In my presentation I will give a general overview of the geology of the 
Grand Canyon and discuss general backpacking
concerns.  The bulk of the presentation will be a slide show of our trip.
