"Polarized Parton Densities"*

We present the results from the second-ever NLO QCD combined analysis
of the world data on polarized inclusive and semi-inclusive deep
inelastic scattering,  recently carried out by the LSS Collaboration.
We discuss in particular the controversy concerning the strange quark
polarization and the question of Higher Twist terms in the expression
for g_1.
