  "Lorentz Violation: Theories and Possible Experimental Tests"

 

Abstract:

 

 

I will review several different theories concerning Lorentz violation, from
the phenomelogical Standard Model Extension to the model of Very Special
Relativity and Doubly Special Relativity as well as the confliction between
the Lorentz invariance and quantum gauge field theory. Our work on deformed
very special relativity and Finler geometry realization will be briefly
introduced. I will also touch the possible experimental tests of Lorentz
violation effects from particle physics and astronomy.
