Electron Scattering Studies of Nuclear and Nucleon Structure 







Abstract: 



The nuclear response to electromagnetic interactions contains a wealth of information on the dynamics of strong interactions. Owing to the complexity of nuclear structure, however, the determination of nuclear and nucleon properties from the measured cross sections involves non-trivial difficulties. I will argue that, in the kinematical regime relevant to most Jefferson Lab experiments, the theoretical approach based on factorisation provides a consistent framework for 
the interpretation of the data.
