Threshold Pion Photoproduction in the A2 Collaboration at MAMI
Abstract:
The technique of extracting multipoles from near-threshold pion photoproduction observables has been very successful in testing Chiral Perturbation Theory. An overview of these experiments will be given, with emphasis on recent measurements of single- and double-polarization observables with a proton target. Neutron experiments will examined, along with a brief look at future plans.
