I will review recent work searching for the composite Higgs
mechanism in nearly conformal gauge theories. The new mechanism of
Electroweak symmetry breaking beyond the Standard Model would replace the
elementary Higgs particle with a composite of new constituents on the TeV
scale providing a solution to major shortcomings of the Standard Model.</pre>
