Recent Progress in Nuclear Deep-Inelastic Scattering

Sergey Kulagin
INR, Moscow

I will give a summary of major experimental observations on
nuclear effects in DIS from
earlier measurements at CERN and SLAC and recent measurements in
low-Q^2 region from JLab.
I will then briefly review an approach which takes into account a
number of different nuclear
effects including Fermi motion and nuclear binding, nuclear
shadowing, nuclear pion field and
off-shell correction to bound nucleon structure functions. Then I
will discuss applicatio
the model in analysis of recent data on the EMC effect for light
nuclei from JLab.
