"Multiparton interactions: from RHIC to LHC

<br>
We describe a general framework for description of the multiparton
interactions (MPI) which involves introduction of new multiparton
GPDs. The space time picture of MPI is explained and used to find the
relation of multiparton and single parton GPDs. We argue that forward
double pion production in pp collisions at RHIC is sensitive to MPI and
would allow to probe double quark distribution in nucleon. We also
argue that MPI dominate production of two forward pions in the central
d-Au collisions studied recently at RHIC. Perspectives of studies of
MPI at the LHC are also outlined.
