      I will discuss the status of fragmentation functions and

      helicity-dependent<br>

      parton densities and their compatibility with latest data from the

      LHC, RHIC<br>

      and COMPASS. I will also outline some opportunities in spin

      physics at RHIC<br>

      and at a future electron ion collider.</tt>
