The Dyson-Schwinger Approach to Confinement in Different Gauges

The Dyson-Schwinger approach is used to study the Confinement
problem in various
covariant gauges. I report on the inclusion of the sunset diagram
in the gluon-propagator-
DSE in Landau gauge and its implication on studies of the
Dyson-Schwinger equations
in the Maximal Abelian gauge. The Kugo-Ojima confinement criterion
is generalized to
Maximal Abelian- and ghost-antighost symmetric- gauges.
Similarities and differences
to the confinement criterion of ordinary covariant gauges and
(unconfined) QED are
emphasized.
