<b>Studies of Few-Nucleon EM Structure and Two-Nucleon Interactions
in $\chi$EFT </b><br>
<br>
This presentation is divided in two parts. The first part deals with
the study of the electromagnetic structure<br>
of $A$=2 and 3 nuclei in chiral effective field theory ($\chi$EFT).
Predictions for static properties and form <br>
factors of the deuteron and trinucleons ($^3$He and $^3$H), by using
two- and three-nucleon potentials, <br>
charge and current operators derived in $\chi$EFT, are presented.
The second part consists in constructing <br>
a minimally nonlocal $\chi$EFT nucleon-nucleon ($NN$) potential up
to next-to-next-to-next leading order <br>
(N$^3$LO) in the chiral expansion, including nucleon and
$\Delta$-isobar degrees of freedom. Three versions<br>
of the this chiral potential up to N$^3$LO, corresponding to three
different cutoffs, have been developed with<br>
good fits to np and pp data up to $E_{\rm LAB}\leq 300$ MeV.
