the past twenty years, several high precision measurements have been performed that have extended our knowledge of the spin-dependent structure functions g1(x,Q2) and g2(x,Q2) between Q2 = 0.02 - 5 GeV2. Moments of the spin structure functions have been formed
from the measurements to study generalized spin sum rules and spin polarizabilities. In this presentation, I will discuss measurements on the neutron extracted from a polarized 3He target in the low Q2 region. Experiment E97-110 was performed in Hall A to
study the neutron and 3He spin structure in a Q2 range between 0.02 and 0.3 GeV2. This Q2 range allows us to make a benchmark-check of Chiral Perturbation Theory calculations. The data analysis and final results on the moments of the neutron spin structure
functions will be presented.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
