[Jlab_cc] Fiscal Year End Reminder to P-Card Holders and Approving Officials

Good morning,

The end of FY11 is fast approaching, and I wanted to remind you all to 
make certain you record all transactions into your p-card log as soon as 
they are made.  While this is a year-around requirement, it takes on 
added importance at fiscal year end because:

1.  Transactions made in FY11 and entered into your log before September 
30, 2011 will be paid using FY11 funds.  This is important to your group 
budget in FY12, since you don't want FY11 expenses to be paid from FY12 
funds.

2.  JLab Accounting must recognize all outstanding commitments which 
exist at the end of the fiscal year.  Large or small, all commitments 
must be recorded.  This gives the lab a true picture of the costs 
incurred and committed in FY11, and assists in planning for the out-years.
