[Jlab_cc] Fiscal Year End Reminder to Cardholders and Approving Officials

Good morning,

The end of FY12 is fast approaching, and I wanted to remind you all to 
make certain you record all transactions into your p-card log as soon as 
they are made.  While this is a year-around requirement, it takes on 
added importance at fiscal year end because:

1.  Transactions made in FY12 and entered into your log before September 
30, 2012 will be paid using FY12 funds.  This is important to your group 
budget in FY13, since you don't want FY12 expenses to be paid from FY13 
funds.

2.  JLab Accounting must recognize all outstanding commitments which 
exist at the end of the fiscal year.  Large or small, all commitments 
must be recorded.  This gives the lab a true picture of the costs 
incurred and committed in FY12, and assists in planning for the out-years.
