[Jlab_cc] Approval Required for Purchase of ALL Lifting and Rigging Hardware

All Cardholders and Approving Officials:

There has been some confusion on the part of some cardholders regarding 
the approval requirements for the purchase of eye bolts and other 
hardware that can be used as lifting devices.

I requested clarification, and have received confirmation that_ALL 
lifting device hardware MUST be approved by Manny Nevarez_ before 
purchase.  The intended current use of the item does not determine 
approval requirements, since the hardware can be use for a different 
purpose at a later date.

The purchase of this category of hardware without prior written approval 
is considered a violation of the P-Card Policy and will result in 
appropriate disciplinary action.
