[Jlab_cc] Year End Reminder Regarding Credit Card Logs

Good morning,

The end of FY13 is upon us, and I wanted to remind you all to make 
certain you record all transactions into your p-card log as soon as they 
are made.  While this is a year-around requirement, it takes on added 
importance at fiscal year end because:

1.  Transactions made in FY13 and entered into your log before September 
30, 2013 will be paid using FY13 funds.  This is important to your group 
budget in FY14, since you don't want FY13 expenses to be paid from FY14 
funds.

2.  JLab Accounting must recognize all outstanding commitments which 
exist at the end of the fiscal year.  Large or small, all commitments 
must be recorded.  This gives the lab a true picture of the costs 
incurred and committed in FY13, and assists in planning for the out-years.

Also, please make certain that your p-card log contains only valid 
entries and remove entries associated with cancelled orders.
