Hey all, see below, I know that at least one of you received this email that looked like it was from Citibank this week.
FYI -
We were informed by one of our offices of a phishing email which contains a Citi email address. As a reminder, please be careful in opening emails from people you do not know. Here are some tips on how to identify a phishing email:
* Do you recognize the email address? Do not simply trust the display name.
* Why are you getting this email? If it is not something that you were expecting, please be extra careful. For example, if you signed up to receive an alert for a CitiManager report and this is the first time you received it, it is okay to question it.
* Look but do not click. The link can be different than what is displayed in the text. Hover the mouse over the link to see if anything looks off. For example, click to go to Google<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.yahoo.com_&d=DwMFAg&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=ieFS5jsS0K086w-NyZQhdg&m=aLyiRKnz6r3Z3i6OEHPA4nVj9xr8laXsNTfy5r5m_Dw&s=cgBrpKB0aX-mJUp43GWZ-0Kh_O68_Qhye4gTjNQDvmQ&e=>.
* Type in the URL of the site yourself if you know what it is.
* Do not open any attachments from unknown senders.
Regards,
Dan
