Title: The Joys of JLEIC: Furthering JLab's study of QCD

Abstract: Electron-ion collisions at JLEIC energies will lead to novel 
opportunities to answer key cutting edge questions in QCD. What is the 
spatial distribution of gluons in the nucleus? How do partons and 
hadrons propagate in strongly interacting matter? Can we see the onset 
of parton saturation? These questions require relatively complete 
particle detection, such as planned for the Full Acceptance Detector at 
JLEIC. Higher energy, such as in Phase II of JLEIC (or eRHIC) are 
valuable, but may be of secondary importance.
