SUMMARY OF POSITION The Nuclear and Particle Physics Group at the 
University of New Hampshire (UNH NPG) invites applications for a 
Postdoctoral Research Associate. The successful candidate will take a 
leading role in our Jefferson Lab Tensor Spin program. They will also 
have the opportunity to contribute to the Spin Structure program 
including production of polarized ammonia for target material for both 
the Spin Structure and Tensor Spin programs, the Heavy Photon Search, 
and to propose and initiate new experiments.

The position is available starting September 1, 2017, and will remain 
open until filled. This is a one year appointment, which will be renewed 
for additional years contingent upon available funding and satisfactory 
performance. Candidates are required to have a PhD in experimental 
nuclear or particle physics by the appointment start date. Experience in 
spin-dependent analysis and/or polarized targets would be an asset, as 
would experience working with solid ammonia and cryogenic, vacuum, and 
millimeter wave equipment.
