Dear All JLab Users,
We are pleased to announce the Software and Computer Workshop 2023 for the Jefferson Lab community organized in collaboration between the HEP Software Foundation, the Experimental Physics Software and Computing Infrastructure Group and the Jefferson Lab Users Organization.
It has been almost four years since the last time we had a computer workshop for Graduate students and Postdocs. Many members of the Jefferson Lab User community have expressed interest in having a formal introduction to the data analysis tools and techniques used by Jefferson Lab experiments.
This event will be held from May the 15th to 19th. Monday to Wednesday will focus on "C++ essentials" and Thursday to Friday will be focused on Jefferson Lab software and computing essentials for all Halls and EIC. The workshop will have dedicated sessions for hands-on training. The trainers and mentors will join us from CERN/Fermilab/JLab.
In-person registration is strongly recommended. Slots are limited to 45 on a first come first served basis. Please do not register in-person if you are not planning to attend.

This program is supported by the Jefferson Science Associate (JSA) Initiatives Fund Program, a commitment from the JSA owner, SURA. The Initiatives Funds support programs, initiatives, and activities that further the scientific outreach, promote the science, education and technology of the Jefferson Lab and benefit the Lab's extended user community in ways that complement the Lab's basic and applied research missions.
Best regards,
Nathaly Santiesteban
On behalf of the organizing committee (Ezekiel Wertz, Brad Sawatzky, Nathan Brei, David Lawrence and Nathaly Santiesteban)
