[Jpac_lectures] Upcoming Gribov Lectures

Greetings all,

Monday November 21 is the first lecture in our Gribov lecture series. We will be lecturing on topics in relativistic reaction theory for hadrons, with primary basis in the book “Strong Interactions of Hadrons at High Energies” by Gribov. Lecture starts at 9:00 am EST, and a BlueJeans link will be sent. The first two lectures will be given by Nathan Sherrill.

Lecture 1 will cover sections from chapter 1, from the very beginning to about section 1.5. Topics will be on general properties of the strong interaction.

Lecture 2 (on Wednesday November 30th at 9:00am) will complete chapter 1 with an introduction to S-matrix theory. 

These two lectures should get all the participants up to speed on some of the basic principles and physics of reaction theory.

For those at Indiana University, we have room 158H booked (located in CEEM) for the first few lectures. As we solidify the schedule, we will make a permanent room assignment.
