<div class="PlainText">Dear KaonLT Colleagues,<br>
<br>
Unfortunately, our manuscript of the pi+ BSA from the KaonLT experiment was not <br>
accepted by Physical Review Letters. The paper was ultimately reviewed by 4 <br>
referees. Despite getting mostly positive reviews, we were unable to convince <br>
all referees that our work fit the PRL criteria, and it was rejected.<br>
<br>
We did, however, get an expression of interest from the editors of Phys Rev C <br>
and Phys Rev D to publish our work there, hopefully without further referee <br>
review. We have also discussed submitting instead to Physics Letters B, as we <br>
think that might be a better fit for this work. We are working to implement the <br>
most recent referee suggestions, and plan to re-submit in January, either to PRC <br>
or Physics Letters B.<br>

We will send you a PDF of the updated manuscript for your review in early <br>
January. Thank you for your contributions thus far.<br>
