Dear Carlos,
Happy holidays and happy new year! Enjoy Atlanta.
There are 57 scintillators in one sector of CLAS6. They are numbered in the NIM paper from 1 to 39, and then from 40a to 48b. Numbers 40 to 48 have two scintillators each. We have panels 3 and 4 in the ESB. The smaller panel (#4) has 12 scintillators and covers 43a-48b. The larger panel (#3, which we are using) has 11 bars and covers 35-39 and 40a-42b.
Let me know if you have other question.

Hi All,
I just started a G4 simulation (very simple, VERY simple at the moment) of the Scintillator walls.
We know that the bars we have, corresponds to the scintillator numbers 35 to 45 (NIM paper). We are positive about them from the ODU master thesis, and Sara notes when she and I tested the bars. Now, when I was setting the dimensions of the bar in the code, I figure it out that there are two sets of bars from 40 to 45 with different lengths (Table 4 from the NIM paper)
https://hallcweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/File:CLAS6-TOF-NIMpaper.pdf
I guess we should measure the bars 40-45 individually in order to set the correct dimensions, or do we have an updated table?
I think that won't be a big problem to continue coding the detector into G4, the lengths can be changed later and there are other distances to determine, but I want to be sure the future work to do.
I'll be driving tomorrow to Atlanta, but my email is always open. So, Happy Holidays, and Happy new Year (Guten Rutsch!!)
Cheers
-Carlos
