[Lad_hallc] LAD target and GEM position update

Hi all,

We had a meeting today to discuss the GEM installation in the Hall. We will be able to get around some of the issues on the target platform by removing the GEMs and increasing the size of a slot in the top, enabling us to get the GEMs closer together. We removed the GEMs from the stand this afternoon, and the techs are machining the part now.

However, Florian and I were a bit surprised to learn that the target centerline in the scattering chamber window is apparently 2cm high. Is this going to be an issue? I had also installed the GEMs with the dead hole region located at the top (toward the ceiling).
