Harry Fanning briefed me on this task in the LERF today. I think your THA for the material handling part is acceptable for the U-tubes. I understand that you will be rigging the U-tubes from fixed overhead lifting points to install or remove the tubes and an overhead crane is not used. The 2nd line on the THA identifies that a crane will be used for material handling. What material will you be handling with a crane? Is the 2nd line intended to address hazard of lifting the cryomodules in and out of the truck ramp at the LERF? Please, give me a call so we can discuss.
