HI Neil,
I will test & sign off on this instrumentation, PSS group will test flow switches for operational functionality in the MPS.
The water flow switches (MPS) are all set for 0.1 PGM, here are expected temperature rises:

POWER DISSAPATED IN ISOTOPE RIG kj 10/9/2019
Minimum Flow Rate
Piece Power (W) Factor GPM Delta C Resulting T
Window 5 265 0.1 0.1887 35.1887
Tungsten 103 265 0.1 3.8868 38.8868
hBN/Gallium 892 265 0.1 33.6604 68.6604
Total 1000
Desired Flow Rate
Piece Power (W) Factor GPM Delta C Resulting T
Window 5 265 0.1 0.1887 35.1887
Tungsten 103 265 0.1 3.8868 38.8868
hBN/Gallium 892 265 1 3.3660 38.3660
Total 1000

All of the flow rates are monitored & strip tooled in EPICS, higher flow is fine but preference is to be given to the “Base Cooling” as referenced on the PID. I will cross calibrate the turbine flows with a separate Datel unit, to confirm flows are correct in EPICS.

Thanks
Kevin

Hi Kevin, Todays meeting was helpful, Thanks.
Couple of ???. Once we complete the isotope cooling water & N2 lines who will check them out from a functional stance and sign off that they are ready so we can install the SEG blocks & steel plate.
Thanks
