The College of Sciences at Old Dominion University is pleased to announce the second talk of the Saturday Morning Science Series.  It is free and open to the public and aimed at anyone who has an interest in science.  No science background is required.  All ages are welcome.

Talks will be held on Saturday mornings at 10:30am on the Old Dominion University campus.  Parking is free.

The next talk of the series will be:

*        October 22, 2011: 10:30 am: Dr. Lisa Horth (Department of Biology), "Consider the Ultraviolet: What bees see and why it matters"
(Location: Oceanography and Physics Building, Room 200)

The schedule for the remainder of the Fall Series is:

*       December 10, 2011: 10:30 am: Dr. Victoria Hill (Department of Ocean, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences), "Arctic science: Burning questions in the freezing cold"
