[lqcd-users] NOTICE: Migration of user home directories to a new file server.

Dear JLab LQCD users,

   Next Tuesday (6/21) we are planning to move your /home directories and files therein to a new file server.  This will require the following:


  *   In preparation for the migration, we will drain jobs from all LQCD clusters, so all cluster worker nodes are idle.
  *   On June 21 users should LOGOFF the qcdi systems (i.e., cluster login nodes) during the window 9:30-11:30 EST to allow admins to execute the final "sync" of data being migrated to the new file server. Please take note of this step and your cooperation is appreciated.


    We will send an "all clear" email once the migration is complete. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at hpcadmin at jlab.org<mailto:hpcadmin at jlab.org>.
