Here's an email from W&M IT services suggesting that users *not*
upgrade to MacOS X 10.6 (snow leopard) due to some non-specified
network and application issues.

Due to some application and network incompatibilities for which there
are currently no patches, Information Technology is recommending that
individuals do not upgrade their systems to O.S. 10.6 at this time.
