Mac Administrators:

The following link is a straight forward summary of how the
OSX.Flashback trojan works (Java code included).

It's an example of multi-architecture malware that determines where your
browser is running, then delivers the appropriate code to infect your
machine.

A few more lines of code and a package to infect Linux machines could
easily be dropped.


The upshot:

  patch early and often ... and install the NoScript add-on for Firefox:

  > https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noscript/?src=search

     (this is a good thing for Firefox on any platform)
