Hi, Zhiwen.

Just let you know, a new student (Christine Ploen) has been working on the study of beam-line background for both electron and ion upstream sides using GEMC simulation.
Thanks to Fanglei and Vasiliy's tables, she has created and implemented all 56 electron and 15 ion upstream beam-line elements into GEMC as well as beam pipe hallow at IP.
Currently, she is debugging and double check all elements.
We also work on the realistic beam profile at Marker with the optics-matched beam transverse matrix.
Hopefully, we have some meaningful output from simulation soon.

Sincerely,
Kijun

Subject: [mEIC_det_software] ion beamline feature on wiki

hi, All

The xls file from Vasilly is here
https://eic.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/EIC_Detector_Software_Simulation#beamline_feature
It should be useful for ion downstream particle detection study.

Zhiwen
