Dear MOLLER collaborators,
We will hold the first MOLLER Beam Monitoring/Tracking/Detectors
teleconference next Wednesday March 30 at 10 AM - 11:30 AM (EDT). The
anticipated work of these three MOLLER subgroups is described below in
the excerpt from KK's 2011 MOLLER planning email. Anybody interested in
participating in the further development of these areas is invited to
call in then. If you can't call in at that time but you are interested
in participating and calling in for future calls, please send me an
email, and I will add you to my list of interested people.
Call-in details and a wiki meeting page location will circulated early
next week. We will probably just go with audio and no EVO for this
first meeting.
Thanks,
Mark
P.S. Thanks to those who expressed an interest in this area by
responding to the Doodle poll a few weeks back. I apologize for not
being able to actually get the call going in that promised time frame.
I have all of your names in my list of interested folks. I could not
find a time that could match everybody's schedules, but I think this
time allows everyone to participate in at least part of this first call
(if your Wednesday schedule doesn't changed much from week to week). If
you won't be able to call in (or will have to call in partway through
the call), please drop me an email. There will be minutes of the first
meeting, and I'd be happy to call you afterwards and fill you in on the
highlights and answer any questions. This will not necessarily be the
permanent time for this teleconference.

We need to define all the detector systems and their mechanical support structures, put them into a master CAD file launched at UMass, and launch the necessary simulations to help us make appropriate design decisions on geometry, scope and shielding.
