[Moller] MOLLER Science Review Report

Dear MOLLER Collaborator:

The final version of the MOLLER Science Review report has been released. I attach the cover letter, the report, and the Reviewer comment excerpts. 

As you will see, this is a very positive report. Our recent collaboration meeting action items (which I summarized in a previous collaboration-wide email) were built on the anticipated outcomes of this report. We have already launched on an action plan to respond to the two recommendations. 

Our current status can be briefly summarized as follows: this report, while not the outcome of a CD-0 review, essentially establishes endorsement of MOLLER’s science motivation from the DOE perspective. Our next set of goals are: getting endorsement of our technical feasibility, solidifying our cost range estimate, and developing a management plan in anticipation of becoming a Project. In parallel, we continue our pre-R&D on the technically challenging aspects of the design. 

I want to take this opportunity to once again thank those of you who helped prepare for and participated in the Science review.
